Beveland showcases Jodhpur – The Indian Floral Gin – at ProWein – Sponsored Intel

If you’re heading to ProWein next week, make Beveland Distillers at Hall 13/G37 one of your spirits stand destinations.

The Spain-based company will be showcasing its broad range of spirits at the show in Dusseldorf, including unveiling for the first time Jodhpur Baori – The Indian Floral Gin.

The latest addition to Beveland’s Jodhpur gin brand takes its name from Chand Baori, one of the largest and most beautiful stepwells in the world, located in the Indian state of Rajasthan. Jodhpur Baori is distilled using a maceration of Indian flowers including lotus, white jasmine, marigold, lavender, gooseberry amla and rose.

A delicate & elegant gin with floral and fresh flavours, the extension, like its Jodhpur siblings, features spices that are all indigenous to India. Among the recommended serves for Jodhpur Baori are ‘The Kamal Baori’ – 5cl of Jodhpur Baori, 2cl each of lychee nectar and fresh lime juice, topped up with tonic water and garnished with a lotto flower – and ‘The Amla Royal’ – 5cl of Jodhpur Baori with 1cl of blackcurrant liqueur finished with Cava and flowers to garnish.

The Jodhpur range plays a valuable role in supporting students at a hostel near the brand’s namesake city in northwest India. Beveland is funding the education of 20 girls at Hostel Keru on the outskirts of the city. The initiative uses a donation from Beveland for every bottle of Jodhpur sold to support the education of economically disadvantaged girls from the rural areas of Rajasthan.

Beveland is part of the wider Masoliver Group in Spain. The division, which celebrated its 25th anniversary in 2019, is working on increasing its presence internationally beyond Spain not only for Jodhpur Gin but also its portfolio of vodkas, Scotch whiskies, rums and Tequilas.

So, take the time to visit Beveland at ProWein next week – Hall 13/G37 – to discover why Jodhpur is the international ambassador gin of India.
