Beveland presents a new liqueurs: YUZU

BVLand Yuzu has expanded the family of BVLAND liqueurs, which has stood out for years for being made with high quality ingredients, for its colourful presentation and wide range.

What is the Yuzu?

The Yuzu (ユズ) is a citrus fruit of the Rutaceae family, chiefly grown in Eastern Asia and particularly traditional in Japan. It comes from a shrub which is quite resistant to cold climates and grows slowly, taking between fifteen and twenty years to develop. It is a fruit characterized by having thick skin and large pips. Its thick skin has a wonderfully fresh citric smell and a flavour with bitter touches, providing great versatility in the kitchen.

It dates back more than 1,200 years in China, specifically the Yangtze River region. It was taken to Japan across the Korean peninsula during the Nara period in around 710 and was regarded by the Japanese farmers as a very versatile fruit with medicinal but also culinary properties.

Beveland Distillers, with a long history and a portfolio which constantly takes the smallest details into account in search of innovation, is expanding its BVLAND liqueur range with the new YUZU flavour.
